Progressive Women's Organization gives $1,000 for NTCC scholarships

The Progressive Women's Organization of Mount Pleasant recently presented $1,000 to the 草榴社区 Foundation to provide two scholarships for students majoring in education. The donation was given in memory of Verner Cornelius, a longtime local educator. Members from the group are pictured presenting a check to Nita May, NTCC Director of Development (third from right).

Tonya Taylor gives memorial nursing scholarships

Tonya Taylor, Assistant Professor of Nursing at 草榴社区, recently gave $1,200 to the NTCC Foundation to provide two scholarships for nursing students. The gift was given in memory of Margie Bragg, an NTCC Nursing graduate from Mount Pleasant who worked in the field for many years. Taylor noted that she hopes the scholarships will help carry on the caring spirit Bragg gave every day. Taylor is pictured above with Dr. Jonathan McCullough, NTCC Vice President for Advancement.

Honors 草榴社区 announces class of 2015-2016

The 草榴社区鈥燞onors Program is pleased to announce its Honors Students for the 2015-2016鈥爏chool year. This鈥爄ncludes鈥10鈥燩residential Scholars and鈥15鈥燞onors Scholars.

Honors 草榴社区鈥爓as founded in the spring of 2007.鈥燝eared to attract top high school graduates and college students, the program鈥爃as鈥爌rospered thanks to a network of loyal supporters both in and out of the鈥燾ollege.
