COVID-19 2022 Update

Updated 2022 Guidelines
 

 

Stay Home

Everyone, regardless of vaccination status, should:

  • Stay home for 5 days.

  • If you have no symptoms or your symptoms are resolving after 5 days, you can leave your house.

  • Continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days.

  • If you have fever, continue to stay home until your fever resolves.

If You Were Directly Exposed To Covid-19

 

Wear A Mask

If you:

Have been boosted

OR

Completed the primary series of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine within the last 6 months

OR

Completed the primary series of Johnson & Johnson vaccine within the last 2 months

  • Wear a mask around others for 10 days.

  • Test on day 5, if possible.

  • If you develop symptoms, get a test and stay home.

 


 

If you:

Completed the primary series of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine over 6 months ago and are not boosted

OR

Completed the primary series of Johnson & Johnson over 2 months ago and are not boosted

OR

Are unvaccinated

  • Stay home for 5 days. After that continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days.

  • If you can't quarantine you must wear a mask for 10 days.

  • Test on day 5 if possible.

  • If you develop symptoms, get a test and stay home.

As we continue to see a rise in COVID-19 cases due to new variants, NTCC wants to ensure that our students, faculty and staff have the information needed to keep the campus community as safe as possible.

While masks are optional on the NTCC campus, we highly recommend wearing them while in enclosed spaces where social distancing is not possible. Masks are available in the Student Services Center if you need one.

NTCC will continue to use enhanced cleaning and sanitation procedures in classrooms and other public spaces. Disinfectant wipes are available at stations in most classrooms.

Hand sanitizer is widely available throughout campus. We encourage everyone to use it in conjunction with proper handwashing techniques.

NTCC highly encourages everyone to get vaccinated for COVID-19. Many local pharmacies, hospitals and clinics offer vaccine appointments by appointment or walk-in. You can also schedule a vaccine through Texas Health and Human Services .

COVID-19 testing is widely available in the area at no charge. for a map of current Texas testing locations.


If you have tested positive for COVID-19 or have been directly exposed, please use the blue links above to report to NTCC administration. Doing so will help us provide you with support and also help protect others who may have been exposed.

 

As a Texas state-funded entity, NTCC is prohibited from requiring masks on campus per an by Governor Greg Abbott.
