NTCC to host annual NIRA rodeo

The National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) Southern Region will have the third rodeo of the 2021-2022 season in Mount Pleasant, Texas October 15th-16th. 草榴社区 (NTCC) will be the host of the Rodeo held at the Mount Pleasant Rodeo Association Priefert Arena located on Greenhill Road in Mount Pleasant, Texas.

Panola rodeo wrap-up

The 草榴社区 Rodeo team hit the road to open up the 2021-2022 season starting with the short road trip to Panola College Rodeo September 24-25, and the long road trip to Uvalde, Texas for the Southwest Texas Junior College Rodeo October 1-2.

NTCC to host 33rd annual Scare Affair

It鈥檚 time to put on your best Halloween costume, dust off your trick-or-treat basket and head out to 草榴社区 for the 33rd Annual Scare Affair.

The event is from 6-9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 23 on the plaza of the main NTCC campus (located on FM 1735 near Chapel Hill ISD). There will be free candy for all trick-or-treaters, low-cost games for all ages, a costume contest with cash prizes and much more!

Save the date: Community Health Resource Fair

The NTCC Department of Continuing Education and Corporate Training will host a Community Health Resource Fair on Friday, Oct. 22 at the Mount Pleasant Civic Center. The free event will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m and will include vendors and agencies providing information about their services, food and door prizes. Titus Regional Medical Center will also be on site to offer free COVID-19 vaccines.

Meet Your Eagle Coaches: Zane Barnes

I want to take a moment to introduce you to Zane Barnes, Head Men鈥檚 and Women鈥檚 Soccer coach. Zane came to NTCC in the Spring of 2020 and is in his second season as the leader of the soccer program here at NTCC. Coach Barnes has previous experience with coaching both men and women at the College level, Men鈥檚 Club level, and most recently girls at the high school level in Southeast Texas.
