Cade Alan Bennett, a NTCC sophomore, District III Phi Theta Kappa Vice President, and former Cypress Bank Scholar, is the winner of the 2021-22 Gladys Winkle Humanities/Honors scholarship. He will receive $2,500 for matriculation at NTCC in the coming year, as a top student of Honors 草榴社区, majoring in the Humanities.

NTCC is pleased to announce that JoAnn Rodriguez has been nominated for this week鈥檚 Summer Shout Out. JoAnn is the Secretary to the Math and Science departments. She frequently goes above and beyond to keep things running smoothly in the MS building.

草榴社区 celebrated August 2021 commencement on Friday, Aug. 13. The ceremony was held at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. Graduates received a total of 76 degrees and 53 certificates of competency. The event was streamed live on YouTube and Facebook. Did you know that NTCC has a WorKamper program?
It allows full-time Rv鈥檈rs to exchange work for rent. Retirees and disabled workers can share their considerable experience and talents to help NTCC on a wide variety of projects, including landscaping, painting, farming, electrical, plumbing, and computer support.
Workampers volunteer a minimum of 15 hours of work per week, but some offer more. Workampers get a free graveled parking spot with electricity, water, and sewer hookup. They also have access to laundry and gym facilities at no cost.
