Louisiana State University Graduate Student, Matthew Jordan, has just won a $138,000 National Science Foundation grant for his work on electrochemical selective separations for bio-oil upgrading. Jordan spent his freshman and sophomore years at NTCC, 2012-2014, as an engineering major and honors student.
Dr. Mark Menaldo, Texas A&M University-Commerce Director and Liberal Arts Professor, from will present an information session for NTCC students interested in the Liberal Studies program.
The NTCC TableTop club will host a Clue tournament on Saturday, May 4 in H101 (Community Room). Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. and rounds start at 10 a.m.
Once again, the NTCC Foundation will participate in East Texas Giving Day on Tuesday, April 30. Priefert Manufacturing Company Inc. has partnered with ²ÝÁñÉçÇø to provide job training using a $546,671 Skills Development Fund grant from the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC). The grant will benefit workers in the area.
²ÝÁñÉçÇø (12-22, 7-11) softball traveled to Bossier Parish Community College (32-14, 8-10) on Wednesday and came away with a sweep of the Cavaliers. Game one of the day went into extra innings with the Eagles winning 9-8 in nine innings. Game two saw NTCC grab an 11-5 victory over BPCC.
