Whatley Center announces 2018-2019 show lineup
The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at 草榴社区 recently announced its 2018-2019 entertainment lineup. Season tickets are on sale now and individual ticket sales begin Wednesday, Aug. 15.
The Entertainment Series, which is included in all Friends of the Whatley season ticket packages, kicks off with the 3 Redneck Tenors on September 25. They are a 鈥渘ew breed鈥 of tenors, combining musical comedy with classically-trained singers to create a truly entertaining experience. The 3 Redneck Tenors are sponsored by Ruby R. Neely.
NTCC Eagles Baseball off to hot start in conference
The 草榴社区 Eagles Baseball team is off to a hot start in conference play. The Eagles currently sit near the top of the conference with a 3-1 record. They swept a three-game series against Bossier Parish Community College this past week.
The Eagles shutout the BPCC in the first game 4-0. Chandler Dean, a Pleasant Grove product, took the win on the mound. He gave up three hits and zero runs over seven innings.
