The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at 草榴社区 is pleased to announce that it will host a benefit piano concert by NTCC President Dr. Ron Clinton on Sunday, Feb. 5 at 2:30 p.m.
An NTCC Funeral Service graduate was recently featured in the December issue of Texas Director, a trade publication for those in the funeral services industry. Steven D. Spruiells, of the Dallas/Fort Worth area, graduated from NTCC in December 2022.
For their performance in the fall of 2022 in challenging honors seminars at NTCC in relation to their peers, two Presidential Scholars will win $100 checks. Sophomore Skylar Fondren, president of the honors student council, obtained the highest combined grade in the Humusic Seminar.

We are back in action this spring. Here is our weekly installment of meet the Coaches. This week we spotlight, NTCC Softball Head Coach, Joshua Freeman. Coach Freeman is in his third season as the Leader of the Eagle Softball program. Coach Josh came to NTCC from Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia. Christopher Newport University is a NCAA Division III program where he served as Assistant head coach.

草榴社区 welcomes Artist Marsha Brown as the exhibiting artist for February. Her artwork will be on display in the Whatley Center foyer from Friday, February 3rd through Wednesday, February 22nd. A reception will be held on Wednesday, February 8th, at 12:30 p.m. in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. Marsha was born in Lindale, Texas, and has lived in Oklahoma, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
It has been said that 鈥渃reative people try to do the unexpected.鈥 During the past fall semester, three Honors Scholars in the NTCC honors program, Honors 草榴社区, emerged as fall showcases of achievement at NTCC, Alyssa Ochoa, Neida Perez, and Madellynn Smith. All three exhibited a level of academic excellence equivalent to the top-tier of the NTCC honors program.
The NTCC Music Department recently launched a new YouTube series called "". The project was developed by Dr. Andrew Daniel, Associate Professor of Music.
The NTCC Bookstore is extending its hours to better serve students as they prepare for the spring semester! They will be open Friday, Jan. 13th from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 14th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and they will also extend hours the following Friday, Jan. 20th until 2 p.m.
