Before new students may register for classes they will need to make an appointment with an advisor.

Schedule a call or video conference

In order to setup an appointment, you will need to select two days and two times. This will allow us to setup an appointment with you, even if we are unavailable for your first choice.
Select the format in which your meeting would take plage. (i.e. Face to face, Phone, Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
Once you submit your the form, our advisors will give you a phone call to confirm the day, time and format that you selected. If, for some reason you're unable to attend the meeting, we ask that you notify us as soon as possible.

Who is required to complete orientation?
All transfer students who have earned LESS than 12 credit hours and all first time college students are required to complete orientation. If you took dual credit courses before high school graduation, you are still required to complete orientation upon graduation.

All �� students have access to orientation and are highly encouraged to review it, but only those who fit the categories listed above are required to complete orientation to finish their admissions process.

When must orientation be completed?
Students have until the END of their first semester to complete orientation.

What happens if orientation isn't completed?
Students who don't complete orientation by the end of their first semester will have a hold placed on their account and will not be allowed to register for future classes.

How to Navigate MyEagle Online Orientation:

Click on the following link: https://orientation.ntcc.edu

In order to receive credit for completing orientation, be sure to log in using your student portal information.

The naming format for your login is first initial + last name + last 3 digits of your Social Security Number (SSN).

Do NOT follow that with @ntcc.edu.
Do NOT include any special characters (commas, apostrophes, hyphens (-).

NOTE: If you did not supply a social security number on your admissions application, you will need to use the last 3 digits of your birth year.

The password is set to your date of birth (DOB) in an 8-digit format, mmddyyyy. If you experience and technical difficulties with orientation, log out and then log back in. Orientation will pick up where you left off.

Orientation works best when using Google Chrome.

Direct Deposit Designation

NTCC is required to collect a student refund account choice from all students. Student refunds may result from financial aid that exceeds expenses, dropping/withdrawing from class and/or overpayments. Your designation must be completed electronically.

About the Eagle Senate SGA

Formerly known as NTCC SGA, the Eagle Senate Student Government Association was rebranded in 2025 to reflect a more energized and unified vision for student leadership. Housed inside SUB 101A within the Office of Student Development and under the direction of Ja’Quacy Kieron Minter, the Eagle Senate SGA serves as the official voice and advocate of the NTCC student body.

Meet the 2025 Eagle Ambassadors (Executive Board)

The Eagle Senate is led by six student officers, known as Eagle Ambassadors. These leaders not only serve as the executive board of the Senate but also as trusted representatives and event leaders for the Office of Student Development. From graduation ceremonies to ribbon cuttings, summer orientations, and more, Eagle Ambassadors are the heart of student leadership at NTCC.

All Eagle Ambassadors receive scholarships and are held to a higher standard of leadership, service, and academic excellence.

Leads with vision and strength; presides over Senate meetings and represents the student voice in major campus decisions.
•    Orey Gentry – Vice President
Ensures smooth internal operations; steps in for the president as needed and oversees committees.
•    Gabby Clifton – Public Relations Officer
Keeps the campus community informed and engaged through strategic communication and social media.
•    Ladarrius Patterson – Parliamentarian
Maintains order and structure; enforces parliamentary procedure and ensures fair, effective meetings.
•    Avery Woods – Treasurer
Manages budget planning, spending oversight, and financial records to keep the Senate fiscally responsible.
•    Dylan Shipp – Secretary
Documents meetings, tracks attendance, and ensures all communication is timely and organized.

Facilitate students' seamless enrollment by offering comprehensive assistance throughout the entire process, including admissions, document requirements, financial aid, and more.
Address inquiries and provide guidance on registration, orientation, academic plans, and advisement referrals, as well as online enrollment activities.
Skillfully manage tasks related to transcript requests, updating personal information, scheduling changes, withdrawal processes, verifications, and FERPA form submissions.
Handle payment processing for all charges and support students in understanding payment plans and interpreting account statements.
Efficiently distribute Student IDs and parking stickers, and proficiently manage incoming calls at the switchboard and within the department.
Always prioritize delivering an exceptional and personalized customer service experience to students.

The Student Services Specialist is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to a diverse range of individuals, including students, guests, faculty, and staff within the college's student services center.

Pathway to Violence: Stages of Progression

The Pathway to Violence identifies stages of escalation that may lead to acts of violence. Understanding these stages helps the NTCC community recognize early warning signs and intervene effectively:

Ideation: Early stage where individuals begin thinking about violence, often due to grievances or feelings of powerlessness.
- Intervention: Counseling, conflict resolution, and notifying campus officials of concerns.
Planning: Developing a strategy for carrying out harm, including identifying targets and methods.
- Intervention: Mental health support, monitoring, and alerting campus security if plans become specific or actionable.
Preparation: Taking concrete steps, such as acquiring weapons or practicing harmful behaviors.
- Intervention: Immediate involvement of law enforcement or crisis teams, restriction of access to dangerous tools, and increased monitoring.
Implementation: Executing the planned act of violence.
- Intervention: Emergency response by campus security and law enforcement, communication of lockdown procedures, and swift action to neutralize the threat.
